Telekom Innovation Laboratories (T-Labs) and OpenEPC

Telekom Innovation Laboratories establishes an OpenEPC testbed at their premises for enabling the further research in the area of various access technologies, access and core network energy efficiency as well as in other innovation areas related to the Operator Infrastructures for the Future Internet.

British Telecommunications (BT)

BT Research and Technology department has deployed the OpenEPC software from Fraunhofer Fokus in their labs with the objective to evaluate how different access network technologies can be integrated into a common core network. The aim is to demonstrate seamless handover, common authentication and policies across multiple access technologies, and the OpenEPC offers the flexibility and functionality required to support that goal. Fraunhofer and BT are long-term research collaborators working together on this activity.

TNO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Toegepast Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek)

The Dutch independent research organization TNO uses the OpenEPC in their testlab for proof-of-concept development and demonstrations.
